May is celebrated as Child's Month in Jamaica. The National Child's Month Committee (NCMC) is tasked with the important job of showcasing our young ones. This year the Jamaica Coalition Against Domestic Violence is proud to join our country in celebrating our children. Please visit the NCMC Facebook page and share in the fun. Our theme: Express Yourself in these Uncertain Times! Every week in the month of May we will share different ways we can learn and take part in activities that matter to our children's healthy growth and development. Week 1 topic: Physical Health, Nutrition, and Safety.
Our children are just as affected as adults with all the chaos and disasters taken place including the harsh lifestyle changes caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic. Give them your attention and listen to them. Happy Child's Month... Hip Hip Hooray!
