Shelter & Housing

The JCADV does not provide shelters at this time but networks with other agencies in the community. There are shelters across Jamaica that provide safe and temporary housing for victims and their children. Case managers and shelter advocates will assist victims and their families with information, referrals, and support to relocate and rebuild safe and stable homes. Crime Victim Compensation

The Victim Compensation Program supports victims of domestic violence with relocation assistance. The program will give up to $5000 for relocation expenses per family. Please contact the JCADV Hotline at 1(800) 598-7607 for more information on who qualifies for the program and to obtain an application.
